Students who wish to complement their studies in another discipline with knowledge of crime, law and justice may declare a Minor in Criminology and Criminal Justice. Students wishing to minor in criminology and criminal justice must complete the following requirements.

Legal Studies (LEGL) courses fulfill the criminology and criminal justice elective requirements for the Minor in Criminology and Criminal Justice except where the student has elected a Bachelor of Arts or Minor in Legal Studies. Legal Studies (LEGL) courses cannot be used (counted twice) to meet both the requirements of the Minor in Criminology and Criminal Justice, and the Bachelor of Arts or Minor in Legal Studies.
A total of 18 credits is required for the minor, 9 of which must be upper division.
