The Occupational Endorsement Certificate in Community, Conflict, and Communication prepares students to gain the basic competencies necessary for a novice human service professional. It will help students gain knowledge about how human services operate within the general society, develop skills in core helping professions, and learn how to engage diverse communities within Alaska.

- Students must earn a minimum grade of C for any course they wish to use toward the Associate of Applied Science in Human Services or the Bachelor of Human Services.
Graduation Requirements
- Complete the General University Requirements for Occupational Endorsement Certificates.
- Complete the following major requirements:

- Demonstrate their understanding of how communication impacts the work in communities to reduce conflict and improve services for children and families.
- Provide examples of ethical and professional workplace leadership.
- Present National Organization for Human Services (NOHS) Ethical Standards as applied to the workplace.
