Program Student Learning Outcomes
Students graduating with an Occupational Endorsement Certificate in Guardianship will be able to:
- Demonstrate the process of applying for a guardianship or conservatorship appointment and the statutory obligations of an appointed guardian.
- Describe how the Court monitors all guardians and conservators on an ongoing basis, and how to complete and file necessary reports to the court.
- Demonstrate how to manage a client’s finances, including developing the proper bank accounts, budgets, and managing income and expenses.
- Demonstrate the process of closing out a guardianship case and the various reasons why a case may be dismissed.
