The Real Estate Minor is a valuable way to augment your degree. It offers a collection of courses that introduce students to the many facets of real estate -- for both professional and personal use. Topics include real estate management, lease agreements, real estate finance, and property law.

Students majoring in another subject who wish to minor in real estate must complete the following requirements.1 All courses must be completed with a minimum grade of C. Students pursuing a baccalaureate degree outside the College of Business and Public Policy (CBPP) should see the departmental advisor.

Licensure and/or Certification

BA A306 is a required course for the Minor in Real Estate, and the course is approved by the Alaska Real Estate Commission as satisfying the pre-licensing education requirement for the Alaska Real Estate Salesperson license.
